Movie Night!
Snake Rock on October 15th, 2008
On Friday, November 14th at 7:30pm we had our “Rare Rock Archive Movie Night!” This particular movie featured The Who Live at the Houston Summit from November 20th 1975.
About the movie:
A professional, in house multi camera video shoot that was used to project live onto the big Diamondtron screens at the brand new Houston Summit. This concert was the first show of the 1975 US Tour and coincidentally was the very first event at the Summit.
Keith Moon is in fine form, he never misses a beat and gives commentary throughout the show, needling Pete Townshend who is always a bit more serious on stage. The picture quality and sound are amazing considering the vintage of this performance and the fact that it is a privately owned video and not available officially.
Running time - Approx. 2 hours.
This is one for all ages to witness the power and excitement of The Who in their mid 70’s prime! Our movies are open to the general public. Tickets are $6.00 per person.
Our Rock and Roll Movie Nights have been going absolutely great - please contact us for new upcoming events and movie schedules!
