On Friday, November 14th at 7:30pm we had our “Rare Rock Archive Movie Night!” This particular movie featured The Who Live at the Houston Summit from November 20th 1975.
About the movie:
A professional, in house multi camera video shoot that was used to project live onto the big Diamondtron screens at the brand new Houston Summit. This concert was the first show of the 1975 US Tour and coincidentally was the very first event at the Summit.
Keith Moon is in fine form, he never misses a beat and gives commentary throughout the show, needling Pete Townshend who is always a bit more serious on stage. The picture quality and sound are amazing considering the vintage of this performance and the fact that it is a privately owned video and not available officially.
Running time - Approx. 2 hours.
This is one for all ages to witness the power and excitement of The Who in their mid 70’s prime! Our movies are open to the general public. Tickets are $6.00 per person.
Our Rock and Roll Movie Nights have been going absolutely great - please contact us for new upcoming events and movie schedules!

Our Rare Rock Archive Movie Night on October 17th - at S&K Music Studio, featured “Let It Be” from the Beatles! It went great, and we would like to thank all who attended.

Please call the store if you should need other details. Our PC is currently down, so if you need anything, be sure to call the store!
Thanks!

OUR NEVADA SPCA WAS A HUGE SUCCESS!!!
During our LIVE TELEVISION BROADCAST on KVBC CH3’s Noon Show last Friday, the 29th, filmed while the adoptathon was in progress, we had MANY phone calls and visitors interested in adopting the six wonderful NSPCA dogs that spent the day with us! We enjoyed the canine company of “Toby”, “Tigger”, “Tippy”, “Jr”, “Lexy”, and “Midnight Louie”!
Toby and Lexy were adopted and went happily off to their new homes, and a couple that visited our adoptathon ended up going to the NSPCA shelter afterward and adopted “Lady Belle”! Nathan’s Detroit Pizza donated their delicious pizza to the affair, and JOHN FREDERICKS of KVBC CH3 interviewed us and took the television viewers on a “tour” of our facility….they even got to watch Justin Vogel, our guitar/piano instructor perform!
All in all it was a wonderfully successful afternoon. We hope to have many more adoptathons to aid in matching the perfect family with the perfect pet! Until then, please call and/or visit the Nevada SPCA if you are searching for that perfect match. They will be happy to help you find a new friend! www.nevadaspca.org or (702) 873-SPCA (7722).
